Description:

The presentation will share Aboriginal Engagement strategies developed at Southern River College since launching the Bilya Kaartadjin program in 2025. The presentation highlights barriers faced, successful initiatives supporting student engagement, and how the program has fostered meaningful cultural experiences for students and their families. We will share the RISE program which we hope will continue to grow in its positive outcomes for Year 11 and 12 students who are facing challenges in mainstream education.

Hear about an inclusive partnership model established with a secondary high school to support Neurodiverse young people.

How a school can collaborate and partner with organisations like 12 Buckets to develop a model that can enhance student wellbeing and support all students.

Positive results and outcomes that 12 Buckets has seen working within a secondary high school setting.

What does it mean to be strengths focused and how do you celebrate diversity.
