Engagement with young people doesn’t always happen face to face. YAL has developed a successful program that can be adapted to the needs of each young person who enters their program to suit each young person’s circumstances and needs. The bespoke and longitudinal engagement method used by YAL is one that has provided exceptional outcomes and engagement of Alumni that directly demonstrates the power of this kind of program.
Presenter Bio:
Tammy-Rae joined YAL in 2013, working at first as an office assistant. In 2015, she built and pioneered the scholarship program YAL Connect, taking on the project after being promoted to CEO. YAL now has 10 employees across 2 states. With a background in Education and business and a Bachelor’s in Youth Work, Tammy-Rae brings specialised values and skills to YAL.
